Thankful Thursdays
Each Thursday we will showcase a feature of southwest Arkansas that we are grateful for. Read more to see who's in the spotlight for this week's #ThankfulThursday.
Have you ever met someone who just instantly makes you feel welcomed and part of the team? If have not, then you have not had a chance to meet Beckie Moore and Nicole McRaven at the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce. These ladies do so much for our community and are always a joy to see.
While the Watermelon Festival may be their biggest event of the year, Beckie and Nicole stay extremely busy serving the Greater Hope community throughout the other 51 weeks. From community coffees to ribbon cuttings to advocating for Hope to applying for grants or programs that will benefit us all to promoting local buisnesses and events, these ladies do a whole lot of everything.
The Chamber’s Annual Meeting is coming up Monday, March 16 at Hempstead Hall and if you want more information about how you can be a part of this yearly celebration, just give Beckie or Nicole at call at 870.777.3640.
Or stop by and check out their new office downtown on the corner of 2nd and Main – I’m sure they would love to see any visitors and show off their beautiful new digs (including the gorgeous photos from Rodney Steele)!
You will be able to visit with Beckie at the coffee hosted by TEDxUAHT and Fairy Tales on Ice next week, right here at Hempstead Hall.
We are grateful for the service and dedication of not only Beckie and Nicole, but the entire Chamber network: from the board to the ambassadors to each member. We are so lucky to have such an incredible group of volunteers, employees and members to cheerlead and spread the good news about all that is happening in Hope, Arkansas.
On this #ThankfulThursday (and every other day), we at Hempstead Hall are extremely thankful for all you bring to our community. Thanks ever so much, Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce!
