HH Unplugged to Benefit Junior Auxiliary of Hope

Hempstead Hall presents a new virtual event, “HH Unplugged” featuring local artists Bitsy Carter and Jeff Smith in an acoustic concert on October 2 at 7:00 pm on all of Hempstead Hall’s digital sites.

Hempstead Hall to Remain Closed to Public Through December

Hempstead Hall, the performing arts and conference center on the University of Arkansas Hope – Texarkana's Hope campus, will remain closed to the public until at least December 2020 due to public health and safety measures surrounding COVID-19. All clients have been notified of the closure and no future bookings are being taken at this time.

2020 Watermelon Festival Concert Finds Virtual Home

Local legends, “South Down Main,” will headline a virtual concert experience in the first-ever (and hopefully only) “NOT The-Watermelon-Festival-Concert” Concert on Saturday, August 15, 2020 live from Hempstead Hall’s theater. The popular singing competition, “Watermelon Idol,” will also be live-streamed prior to the concert from the Hempstead Hall Amphitheater.
